Tomtom – XL IQ Some flaws, but as for bringing product satisfaction.

This GPS is easy to use simply mind-blowing. Without reading the manual (very brief) they soon became familiar with the tool.
When you turn the TomTom, it takes a little time to synchronize with a satellite, but once connected, it never loses the signal and route recalculation is very fast. The large screen provides great readability route to take.
Only flat, software usage TomTom Home it is mandatory to use is well done and easy to use, but as stated in other reviews, backups and updates of maps and software are very long because the TomTom has only a USB1 port.
Considering the price displayed and the services provided by GPS is an excellent deal.
Nothing wrong with the camera itself, except perhaps setting system that is not top when the camera is set flat on a patch for vacuum aspiration because of the suction cup is obviously not great. On important routes (especially when the sun is directly on the cup) it tends to detach … The time of catching the satellite is indeed long (2 to 3 minutes if you have not updated the positions of the satellites (which is very easy to do when the device is plugged into the computer) 1 to 2 minutes only otherwise). This is moderately disabling to the extent that planning is done from the ignition of the device with the stored position when off it. Once the current position update, a recalculation of the route is completed (prior to taking into account the parameters previously set, but further tests deserve to be done to make sure)
Regarding the version of tomtom 8, the Planning IQ activated sometimes “strange”, but travel times are given relatively reliable … A test, however, more! The recalculation of routes where one goes the route shown are fast enough.
Attention radar map that installs on first use is completely obsolete! It is imperative to update!
I’m staying for now broadly satisfied with this purchase.
