GPS device determines that you need

GPS devices are divided into three categories:

* Recreational GPS: bring your Recreational GPS device anywhere. The handheld GPS units fit nicely in your pocket, backpack or can be easily mounted on your dashboard. Some, like the Garmin Forerunner, come with a wristwatch design, perfect for hikers and bikers looking for a lightweight GPS device that can see at a glance.
* GPS Car: GPS devices for cars are made exclusively for cars. They often include maps or allow you download mapping. Many others provide voice directions so you can keep your eyes on the road, touch screens, and installation options.
* Marine GPS: Marine GPS devices designed for use aboard marine vessels and watercrafts boast a rugged waterproof design and may also float. They often include drawings of the coast and its environs, and functions to draw the road map and a screen clearly visible in sunlight. Some have the ability to predict tides or locate fish.
